ICP DAS iSN-104 is a 4-channel intelligent liquid leak detection module that extends the single-channel iSN-101 capability to four independent detection zones in a single DIN-rail unit. Each channel independently monitors for liquid presence using either a line detection cable or a point detection probe, with each cable run extendable up to 500 meters — enabling coverage of large, multi-zone facilities from a single module.

The iSN-104 supports two detection configurations per channel. Cable mode deploys a liquid leak detection cable (CA-LLD-DC100) along pipe runs, floor channels, or under raised floors for continuous linear monitoring — ideal for data center subfloors, mechanical rooms, and refrigeration corridors. Probe mode positions a leakage probe (CA-LLD-DP100) at specific point locations such as drain pans, sump pits, and equipment bases. The waterproof plug-type cable (CA-LLD-DC100X) additionally supports cable-break detection, providing fault monitoring of the detection cable itself for enhanced reliability.

Sensitivity for each channel is independently adjustable via front-panel rotary switches across a range of 26 kΩ to 580 kΩ, enabling precise threshold tuning per zone to account for differences in liquid conductivity, ambient humidity, and cable length. Five LED indicators — one power and four independent alarm LEDs (one per channel) — provide immediate visual identification of which zone has triggered an alarm without needing to consult a software interface.

The built-in audible buzzer activates on any channel alarm and can be silenced via a dedicated mute push button, with a separate DIP switch (SW5) option to disable the buzzer entirely for noise-sensitive environments. RS-485 Modbus RTU and DCON protocol support, with hardware DIP switch address and mode configuration, enables seamless integration into multi-module networks and ICP DAS WISE IoT Edge Controllers or TPD/VPD touch HMIs for centralized remote monitoring and alarm management.

Compared to the iSN-101, the iSN-104 adds 3 additional detection channels, a 5th alarm LED, a sound on/off DIP switch (SW5), and upgrades to a DIN-rail form factor — making it the preferred choice for multi-zone installations requiring independent per-zone alarm visibility from a single unit.
