GIC Digital Hour Meter & Counter is a compact 7-digit LCD panel-mount device that combines hour metering and up/down counting functions in a single unit. Supporting hour meter range from 1 second to 9,999,999 hours and counter range from 1 to 9,999,999 counts with prescaling, alarm setpoints, relay and dual MOSFET outputs, built-in overload detection, EEPROM non-volatile memory, retentive and non-retentive modes, and supply variants covering 9–30V DC and 85–265V AC/DC — the GIC Digital Hour Meter & Counter delivers versatile, reliable time and event monitoring for industrial automation applications.
GIC Digital Hour Meter & Counter is a versatile, dual-function panel-mount instrument that eliminates the need for separate hour meter and counter devices. In a single compact unit, it combines precise cumulative operating time measurement with event counting capability — both with independent alarm setpoints, output modes, and memory configurations — making it the ideal single solution for machine maintenance scheduling, cycle counting, production totalization, and runtime-based alarm triggering.
In hour meter mode, the unit tracks cumulative running time from 1 second to 9,999,999 hours with high resolution. In counter mode, it counts up or down from 1 to 9,999,999 counts, with a prescaling facility for precise count ratio adjustment when input pulses do not directly correspond to the counted unit. Both modes support retentive memory (EEPROM) that preserves accumulated values through power loss without battery backup, and a non-retentive mode that resets values on power cycle for batch or cycle-specific applications.
Alarm functionality covers both operating modes independently — a runtime setpoint triggers the output when accumulated hours exceed the programmed threshold, while a count setpoint triggers the output when the counter reaches its target. Built-in overload detection provides an additional safety layer by monitoring for electrical fault conditions. Both relay and dual MOSFET outputs are available, giving flexibility for connecting to different load types and control circuits without external switching components.
The 7-digit LCD display features a luxurious green backlight for high visibility even in low-light or high-ambient-light panel environments. Two supply voltage variants cover the full range of industrial panel configurations: 85–265V AC/DC (universal mains and mid-voltage DC, model Z2221N0G2FT00) and 9–30V DC (low-voltage DC systems, model Z2301N0G1FT00). The compact panel-mount form factor supports standard panel cutout installation with wire connection termination. All models are RoHS compliant and CE marked.
