ICP DAS iSN-101 is a low-cost, intelligent liquid leak detection module designed for real-time water and liquid leak monitoring in critical environments. Acting as a standalone detection and alarm unit, the iSN-101 directly activates a Form A relay output (SPST) the moment liquid is detected — providing both a passive electrical alarm signal and an audible buzzer alert simultaneously, without requiring a separate controller or conversion module.

The iSN-101 supports two detection configurations. In cable mode, a liquid leak detection cable (CA-LLD-DC100) is deployed along pipes, floor channels, or below raised floors to monitor linear paths for leakage — ideal for monitoring pipe runs, raised floor data center environments, or refrigeration lines. In probe mode, a leakage probe (CA-LLD-DP100) is installed at specific point locations such as drain pans, sumps, or equipment bases where localized leak accumulation is expected. Both cables and probes connect to the iSN-101 via the included extended cable (up to 500 meters total detection length), covering large facility areas from a single module.

Sensitivity is adjustable via a front-panel rotary switch across a range of 26 kΩ to 580 kΩ, allowing the detection threshold to be tuned for different liquid conductivity conditions — critical for environments where ambient humidity or condensation might otherwise trigger false alarms. Cable-break detection is supported for the waterproof plug-type cable (CA-LLD-DC100X) variant, providing fault monitoring of the detection cable itself.

The built-in buzzer provides an immediate local audible alarm when leakage is detected, with a dedicated mute button to silence the alarm while acknowledging the event. Dual LED indicators (power and alarm status) provide instant visual status at the unit. Embedded dual watchdog ensures continuous reliable operation even after communication loss or firmware abnormality.

RS-485 communication supports both Modbus RTU and DCON protocols, with hardware address configuration via DIP switch for fast multi-unit deployment. Integration with ICP DAS WISE IoT Edge Controllers, TPD/VPD touch HMIs, and mobile apps enables remote monitoring and alarm management at the system level. Available in wall mount (iSN-101) and DIN-rail (iSN-101/DIN) variants.
